Each department ensures strict confidentiality, security and privacy are maintained.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<b>When will we process your personal information:<\/b>\nIn terms of the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), the justification ground which we base our processing on consist out of the following:\n<ul>\n<li>The data subject or a competent person where the data subject is a child\u00a0<b>consents<\/b>\u00a0to the processing. Kindly note that you have the right to withdraw your consent;<\/li>\n<li>The processing is\u00a0<b>necessary<\/b>\u00a0to carry out actions for the conclusion or performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party;<\/li>\n<li>The processing complies with an\u00a0<b>obligation<\/b>\u00a0imposed by law on the business;<\/li>\n<li>The processing protects a\u00a0<b>legitimate<\/b>\u00a0interest of the data subject;<\/li>\n<li>The processing is necessary for the proper performance of a\u00a0<b>public law\u00a0<\/b>duty by the business;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nOr\n<ul>\n<li>The processing is necessary for pursuing the legitimate\u00a0<b>interests<\/b>\u00a0of the business or of a third party to whom the information is supplied.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<b>How we store your personal information:<\/b>\nYour information is securely stored:\n<ol>\n<li>Lock and secure confidential information always<\/li>\n<li>Shred confidential documents when they are no longer needed Make sure they only view confidential information on secure devices<\/li>\n<li>Only disclose information to a 3<sup>rd<\/sup>\u00a0party only when it is necessary and authorized<\/li>\n<li>Keep confidential documents inside our company&#8217;s premises unless it is necessary to move them<\/li>\n<\/ol>\nWe keep your information for as long as the information is used and at least 1 year thereafter, should the information become obsolete. We will then dispose your information securely when no longer required. The information will be disposed of correctly in line with the companies Data Destruction Policy as well as applicable legislation, ensuring the proper destruction and removal of data in such a way that it will no longer be accessible or retrievable.\n<b>Your data protection rights:<\/b>\n<ul>\n<li>You are entitled to access your personal data by sending a written request to\u00a0Mindi Pieterse\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:mindi@ese-sa.co.za\">mindi@ese-sa.co.za. <\/a>We may charge you a fee for this service as set out in terms of Condition 8 of POPIA.<\/li>\n<li>You may also request\u00a0<strong>Proper Document Storage<\/strong>\u00a0to correct or supplement any of your personal data which\u00a0<strong>Proper Document Storage<\/strong>\u00a0will undertake as soon as practicable.<\/li>\n<li>Request the destruction of your personal data. Stanley Aucamp our Information Officer and Mindi Pieterse our Deputy Information Officer will consider your request in light of any other laws or regulations prohibiting <strong>Proper Document Storage<\/strong>\u00a0from destroying your personal data.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nYou are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights.
